Leading polymer distributor, Plastribution, has introduced HydropolTM from Aquapak Polymer Ltd as part of its new portfolio of pioneering sustainable solutions for plastics processors.
This new range has been launched in response to ongoing public concern about plastic in the environment, and calls from designers, brand owners, OEMs and converters to provide more environmentally friendly solutions for a diverse range of applications.
Hydropol™ from Aquapak was included as it satisfies several of their key categories of solutions including:
• Water Solubility
• Circular Economy
Plastribution recently introduced Aquapak to its customer base in an exclusive preview, and will be supporting the launch of Hydropol™ at a conference early in 2020 at which Aquapak will demonstrate the both the multi-functionality of its warm and hot water soluble polymer, and its strong end of life credentials in promoting ‘good cycling’ in the circular economy and eliminating plastic pollution at source.
Commenting on the launch, Plastribution’s Mike Boswell, said: “Releasing our sustainable materials initiative is all part of our value proposition to all our customers – responding to their demands for expertise and advice in this constantly evolving area, and a comprehensive portfolio of products. We have a long and successful history of providing customers with unequivocal support including technical training and education – this is what sets us apart from other distributors.”
Mark Lapping, CEO of Aquapak Polymers Ltd added, “We are delighted to be teaming up with Plastribution to make our innovative Hydropol™ polymer more widely available to the processors of traditional plastics, to enable them to bring real solutions to the problem of plastic in the environment”.
