We’re pleased to announce Aquapak have become a member of the association for Anaerobic Digestion & Bioresources (ADBA).

ADBA is a not-for-profit organisation representing companies like ours in the anaerobic digestion (AD) sector, to highlight and promote the benefits of anaerobic digestion, tackle any issues the AD sector may be facing and help develop/grow this industry across the UK.

Hydropol can be used to produce AD bags to convert food waste into energy and fertiliser. The water-soluble bags are filled with food waste and dissolve efficiently during the anaerobic digestion process so there’s no residue leftover to dispose of.

Mark Lapping, CEO of Aquapak, said: “We’re happy to be a part of ADBA thanks to the work Hydropol is making within the AD sector especially in Australia – we hope this will be reflected here in the UK soon and can’t wait to see how the AD industry develops both here in the UK and around the world.”
