The unique thermo processability of Hydropol™ allows it to be manufactured into nonwoven materials using conventional processes like meltblown or spunbond extrusion to form soft, strong, drapable fabrics.
These fabrics have a wide range of commercial uses and offer a unique combination of functionality, performance and sustainable end-of-life options

Strength, durability and dissolvability

The Problem
Blocked sewers, fatbergs and microplastics
Sewage systems around the world are clogged with so-called “flushable products”

Significant amounts of nonwoven material is used in absorbent hygiene products, such as wet-wipes and feminine hygiene pads. These can be composed of up to 90% plastic and there is no sustainable way to dispose of these products.
At present, all disposal methods result in environmental pollution, the creation of tonnes of harmful microplastics or blockages to waterways and sewer systems.
The Solution
Watch our nonwoven material dissolve in seconds
