In an interivew with Finisterre’s product development manager Niamh O’Laoighre, she shared how the brand collaborated with Aquapak over 18 months to develop their packaging that #leavesnotrace which is helping to reduce the amount of non-biodegradable plastic materials sent to landfill or finding its way into the oceans each year. She said:
“We know fashion is a massive contributor to the issues around sustainability, and we’re trying to find a way that we can counteract that as best as we can. We take our commitment really seriously as a business, and we’re doing what we can to ensure we have the least impact possible. We know that plastic is a huge issue in that conversation.”
